AllinSMS supports both the sms-activate style and the 5sim style API. In most cases you only need to change the URL and API key in your software.
If you use the sms-activate style
1Create an API key on the AllinSMS Account page.
2Change the handler_api URL in your software to the AllinSMS URL shown at the top of the API docs.
3Replace api_key with your new key. Core actions such as getNumber, getStatus, setStatus, getBalance and getPrices keep the same names and response formats.
If you use the 5sim style
1Change the API base URL to the AllinSMS /v1 address.
2Replace the Bearer token in the Authorization header with your AllinSMS API key.
3One-time activation endpoints such as user/profile, user/buy/activation, user/check, user/finish, user/cancel and guest/prices are available.
Differences
Only one-time activations are supported; long-term rentals and forwarding are not. Country and product names from the other service are mapped automatically. The full list is in the API docs.
Test before you switch
Top up a small amount and run one cheap service through buy, status check and cancel. Codes that never arrive are refunded automatically, so testing costs almost nothing.
